INNER CIRCLE
Strength.
Get stronger with a supportive group of like-minded women—with expert coaching and zero competition.
— STRENGTH & COMMUNITY FOR WOMEN
Move with intention. Lift heavy sh*t. Do it together.
Walk out stronger than you walked in.
Inner Circle Strength is semi-private strength training with groups of 3 people per session. It’s built for women ready to learn new movements, go a little heavier, and have fun doing it. You get one shared workout per month, individually coached with your loads, your progression, your cues, and all adjusted for you in real time. Build real functional strength with an intimate community, the same coach, week after week.
Various weekly time slots available. Book whichever works for you that week — no fixed slot required, though most people find their rhythm.
If you've been looking for a way to train alongside other women — to build community while you build strength — this is for you. Get stronger with women who also show up for each other.
— GROUPS OF 3
An intimate space,
an experienced coach, and a chance to build together.
Most "small group" settings aren’t actually small. A floor of 8, 10, 12 people can't give you real-time attention and connection — it gives you a workout and a quick wave hello.
Progressive overload, functional strength, real movement.
We build real strength for the real life you’re living outside the gym. We don’t train in parts. Each session is fully body.
01
Real coaching, every session.
The same coach who knows YOU, your energy, your movements, and what makes you tick.
02
Sustainable strength and a pace built to last.
Strength built over time, never rushed for a quick before-and-after.
03
Community that’s actually real.
Know each other’s names, find your people, work out, hang out. Participants are invited to special events quarterly outside the gym and IRL.
04
Camaraderie over competition.
We recognize every body is different and everyone’s training experience varies. No judgment here, only gentle nudges. Come as you are. We got you.
05
Those who lift together,
stay together
Research repeatedly shows that shared exercise connects people faster than almost any other shared activity AND that women's longevity is tied more closely to their friendships and social network. Connection isn't a nice-to-have. For women, it's one of the most protective things there is. Lifting heavy with other women is a shortcut to community.

Meet your Coach
Surbhi has been coaching strength and movement for 15+ years, first certifying in 2011 while climbing the ranks at Nike, Amazon, and Athleta, then betting on herself as a full-time coach in 2022.
She built her approach on a simple rule: get stronger, never at the cost of your body or your energy. Real strength should fuel your life, not drain it — training the nervous system right alongside the muscle, so calm and power grow together. Surbhi specializes in helping women own their strength through the shifts of 40+, and she doesn't do it alone in a room full of strangers — she's built a community of women who show up for each other as much as for the workout. Grounded, no-nonsense, and always fun.

What People Are Saying
Surbhi is patient, kind, and really knows her stuff! I love having a supportive place to push myself harder, but also someone to tell me when to scale back.
— Yuliya P.
“I'm so glad I started working with Surbhi! I feel myself getting stronger and have started lifting heavier weights. The strength training I do with Surbhi has begun to cross over into my mountain biking and trail running, helping me attack the hills!”
— Stephanie L.
"Personally I would NEVER go to a group workout class, but this challenged my assumptions and brought that Trail Sister vibe to a new level."
— Sarah T.
From the start, Surbhi’s guidance and exceptional attention to form made all the difference. She taught me how to lift heavy safely and confidently, always with a clear understanding of when to push myself and when to ease back. Her coaching is thoughtful, precise, and incredibly empowering. Surbhi has made heavy lifting not only approachable, but truly fun. I’m so grateful to train with her.

Every person's needs are unique. Similarly, every person's areas of strength and opportunity are also unique. If you choose to work out in a group session, it's important to remember that what exercise works for you may not work for someone else - or vice versa! For that reason I encourage you to focus on your own progress and do your best not to compare yourself to the progress of those around you. I also encourage you to cheer on your peers as they get stronger and confident in their own bodies. Our time together is intended to be one of community and camaraderie, not comparison and unhealthy competition. I intentionally set my groups to be small and intimate, so that they foster a sense of belonging as you advance your skills in strength training.
-
No. Each session is individually coached within a shared workout that progresses over time: your form, your load, your pace, adjusted for you, alongside two other people doing the same workout.
-
Forever! As you get older, your bone density will thank you for it.
Permanent change doesn't happen overnight, nor does it happen in just a few weeks! 6-8 weeks is usually when your body starts to adapt to performing new movements through weight lifting.
A 3-month period is usually where you may start to actually feel different or notice transformation in your physique or energy levels. How long it will take to build a healthy lifestyle that consists of strength training will entirely depend on your consistency and your personal motivations behind training. Knowing your “why” will help you build the motivation to keep going. -
Strength training 2-3x/week is ideal to help you get stronger and notice change. If you are new to strength training, training with a coach the entire time will expedite the learning process. However, you can also choose to strength train with your coach less often and train on your own the other days of the week. Regardless, it is important to make sure that you are following a program that advances your load, complexity, and intensity over time. This concept is called progressive overload and is a necessary component to getting stronger. Without a program of this kind, it will take you much longer to gain strength or only allow you to maintain (or lose relative strength) over time.
-
The answer is most likely no. "Bulking" takes extreme effort, specialized training, and a high-calorie diet—things most women don’t accidentally do. Unless you are specifically training for a body building competition, you are unlikely to get bulky when you strength train.
-
After several years of training and athletics, I have grown a deep value and appreciation for building strength from the ground up. This means working on our feet! While it is not required, I do encourage my clients to train barefoot when they are able. This means either completely bare, in socks, or using minimalist footwear. I am happy to recommend minimalist footwear when we begin working together.
-
No. Book whichever of the 5 weekly slots works for you that week. Some people settle into a regular rhythm naturally — that's welcome, just not required.
-
Cancel or reschedule up to 24 hours before your session, no questions asked. Inside that window, the session counts as used — it keeps things fair for the other two people who own that space with you.
-
This is exactly the space for that. Coaching is real-time and personal — you're not left to figure out the movement on your own.
